Island Inkjet has closed its Dufferin Mall location and currently has no stores in Toronto. Octa Ink has been created in association with Island Inkjet in order to continue providing Toronto customers with a quality refill service and affordable compatible cartridges.
On-site refills are now available by appointment at 136 Halam St (3 doors east of Dovercourt on North side of Hallam). Just call or text us at 416-534-2002 to make an appointment. Customers can also drop off cartridges in mailbox with name and phone number, and pickup at a later date. We aim for 24 hour turn-around and will notify you when cartridges are ready for pickup.
We are happy to have added another drop-off/pickup location at Cyber Share, 1106 Bloor St. (Just East of Dufferin, on North side of Bloor). Hours of operation are Mon-Sat 9:00am – 1:00am, and Sunday 10:00am-1:00am

Please follow these basic steps for a successful refill:
1) Refill Eligibility: For ink cartridge refills, please read the complete “Inkjet Refills” page to see whether or not you are eligible. To prevent cartridges from drying up permanently, it is recommended that you print every month or try running a print-head cleaning to unclog them.
2) Pricing: If you are eligible for a refill then find your cartridge on our “Refill Price Sheet”. Refills are generally about half the price of a new Brand Name cartridge.
3) Packaging: Secure your cartridges upside down in a clean plastic bag with a rubber band, and leave a pocket of air around printheads to prevent leaking ink. Avoid damaging the print-heads and electronic strips, and contact with any dirt or debris.
4) Locations: Find a pick-up and drop-off location near you and drop off during their hours of operation.
5) Customer Info: Fill out the Customer Refill Form at designated drop-off locations, or download and print it off from home and include it with your cartridges. It is most important that you include your name, your phone number, and the cartridge numbers.
6) Pickup & Payment: Hours of operation may vary, so please refer to the hours of each pickup and drop off location individually. Pay when you return to pick-up your cartridges, or presently if you are swapping cartridges.
7) Questions: Pickup/drop-off associates are not responsible for answering questions but will have appropriate documents for customers to find answers on their own. If you have any further questions or concerns then please feel free to call or e-mail Octa Ink directly.
* Guarantee: After following Troubleshooting Instructions, if cartridges still don’t work, or if you are unhappy with the quality of your prints then please notify us within 30 days of purchase. We are happy to give you an equivalent in-store credit towards future refills or new compatible cartridges.
